Super precision bearings

UBEX continually offers the best technologies, quality, and services, through inspiration from the market and putting efforts into research and technical developments. We offer a wide range of super precision ball bearings which are being used for the most demanding applications such as machine tools and ball screw shafts. Our super precision ball bearings are well known for their high accuracy, speed and performance and are available in the following types:

Angular contact ball bearings

Cylindrical ball bearings

Tapered roller bearings

Support bearings for precision ball screws

Support bearing units for precision ball screws

Angular contact ball bearings

The angular contact ball bearing can accommodate radial load, unidirectional axial load or a combination of both. There are four different contact angles to choose from (15°, 20°, 30° and 40°). The greater the contact angle, the higher the axial rigidity. Smaller contact angles are more suitable for high-speed rotations.

High ability angular contact ball bearings excel in their high-speed performance and rapid acceleration/deceleration. They are superior in ultra-high-speed applications when used with oil/air lubrication. They exhibit performance superior to conventional products even if grease- lubricated. These series are available in three types: High rigidity, high load-rating and ultra-high speed types.

Features & Benefits:

High Ability series, supporting contact angles of 40° available in our portfolio

Exhibiting superb high speed performance by using an outer ring guided cage

Bearing series available with holes for oil/air lubrication which are perfectly suitable for ultra-high speed applications

Improvement in high speed performance and higher rigidity by using balls with special diameters

Large diameter balls enable high load-carrying capacity

Rolling elements are available in steel and ceramics which contributes to an excellent high speed performance

Our double-direction angular contact thrust ball bearings support axial loading in both directions. Bearings with a larger contact angle feature high rigidity and those with a smaller angle feature better high-speed performance

Cylindrical ball bearings

The super precision series also contain cylindrical ball bearings which are available in double and single row. The cylindrical roller bearing has high radial rigidity and is suitable for high-speed rotation through an arrangement of many rollers and a line contact which is made between the rollers and the raceways.

Features & Benefits:

Bearings with tapered bores are available for applications using tapered shaft

Bearings available with lubrication grooves and holes to attain a sufficient supply of lubricant to the inside of the bearings

Single row types available which produce less heat and have a high-speed performance

Tapered roller bearings

Our tapered roller bearings in the super precision series are available in several sizes and comply with the ISO standards.

Features & Benefits:

A radial and axial load can be simultaneously applied to the tapered roller bearing and allow easy adjustments of preload.

This bearing has high rigidity.

Single row tapered roller bearings can receive only a unidirectional axial load, a pair of single row bearings are mounted apart and facing each other. They are also often used in a face-to-face or back-to-back arrangement.

Tapered roller bearings with a flanged cup allow easy positioning in axial direction by using a housing structure.

Support bearings for precision ball screws

Our SAC type support bearings are angular contact thrust ball bearings which are specifically designed for supporting the screw shafts of precision ball screws.

Features & Benefits:

High rigidity against axial load than conventional standard bearings

Compact and lightweight: since this type of bearing eliminates the need for an additional radial bearing or thrust bearings, it allows a compact surrounding design, thereby contributing to a reduction in the weight of the total system.

Complicated adjustment during mounting are not required because of a pre-adjusted preload.

They require lower friction torque than the tapered or thrust roller bearing.

Support bearing units for precision ball screws

The support bearing unit for precision ball screws is a unit product combining the SAC type support bearing and housing machined to a high precision

Features & Benefits:

The support bearing unit can easily be mounted. It consists out of a bearing (adjusted preload and grease sealed within the bearing) which is already mounted in a compact housing.

A high performance built in oil seal and low torque operation is contributing to an excellent dust-proof performance.
